ePoweredSchools, E-Rate and You
The Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund—also known as E-rate—provides discounts to eligible schools and libraries that helps them obtain affordable telecommunication services, internet access and internal connections.

E-Rate EligibilitySchools and libraries must meet specific guidelines determined by the Universal Service Fund. Eligible schools and libraries include: non-profit public elementary and secondary schools, private schools with endowments not exceeding $50 million, public libraries, academic libraries, research libraries and numerous private libraries.
ePoweredSchools and E-RateePoweredSchools is a registered E-rate service provider—SPIN number 143005403. Due to the recent addition of Web Hosting as an eligible service, you can apply for E-Rate funding for your ongoing ePoweredSchools service. Web Hosting is a Priority One category service; therefore, almost all schools and libraries approved for funding requests are funded.

Received or postmarked no later than 120 days after the date of the Funding Commitment Decision Letter or 120 days after the Service Start Date, whichever is later. |

Received or postmarked no later than 120 days after the date of the Form 486 Notification Letter or 120 days after the last date to receive service, whichever is later. |
